what do we call this thing?
For now, I'm calling our collaboration canadian rain, because, well, I need to call it something and that's sort of the most obvious, but i'm very interested in your ideas for titles. In fact, let's start a little playful competition... person with the most creative title gets a prize. Start twisting those noodles...

a thought i had for a sequel to rain was "a taste of sunlight in december."
after the reading someone mentioned that the new version of the play be called "the smell of snow when it's snowing." that seems pretty relevant to edmonton.
what are your thoughts. throw 'em out there. as far out as you can get.
I agree with Casey and Sinead. keep the rain. there are so many emotions attached with rain that you could never obtain by using snow. Though it is an interesting idea, it would take away from a very large aspect of the play and it would lose the magical feeling it currently possesses
nice dialogue here, you guys.
i understand how important the rain is but my question is -- what if the play i write is a sequel, or just another play all together? let's imagine for a second that you get to put on this play (rain) and then another play too using the same characters... they couldn't both be about rain, could they? and if the second one doesn't have rain in the title, then what does it have?
i'm not saying that's how it's going to go... but for now let's imagine it that way...
all i have to say is.
it has to be rain.
no questions asked.it has to be.nothing gives a mood like rain.and really, snow sucks.
Yeah i like that idea, sunshine is a symbol for a lot of things, including hope, new beginings and salvation.
PS i really like that title u came up with A Taste of Sunligh in December, and if im not mistaken havent we gotten freezing rain in december b4
